Obtaining patient consent is a process and not just a signature on a form. As such The Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCOA) and The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) have produced excellent basic information documents and posters regarding anaesthesia, consent, and nerve blocks.
